The New Zealand Guild of Agricultural Journalists and Communicators held its awards night tonight! Radio New Zealand’s rural reporter, Carol Stiles, who is the host of Country Life, won two awards for her journalism!
Her first award was the Federated Farmers Broadcast Journalism Award! This award was established to recognise excellence in radio or television broadcasting of agricultural or agribusiness journalism!
Then she won the Rural Women New Zealand – New Zealand Journalism Award for two radio pieces: Old dogs, new homes and Mad About Sheep! This award was established to recognise the important contribution women make in the rural community. This can be either in the farming sector or the general rural environment!

Yet again, RNZ proves that it is one of the best news outlets in the country!
